Our Price: $7.99 Stiglmeier's Weisswurst (Bockwurst with Parsley) is a Bavarian Specialty favorite and can be found at the famous German Oktoberfest in Munich. This mild flavored sausage is typically served in the Bavarian style: bring water to a boil, drop in Weisswurst, turn off heat, cover and allow to sit for 10 minutes. Sweet mustard, pretzels and potato salad is typically served with this delicious sausage. The Weisswurst is precooked so you need only heat thoroughly before serving. Place in a "Bavarian Turine" with hot water and set on table for a traditional meal. And there is even a special way to eat it. Cut open the casing and suck the meat out (we still prefer a fork & Knife). These sausages can also be pan fried or grilled (although you can expect some splitting). Each package contains five (5) links (measuring approximately 5 1/2 inches long and 1 inch thick). Keep frozen for up to 2 months. If sausages arrive defrosted, store in refrigerator for no longer than one (1) week before consuming. NET WT. approximately 1 Pound Ingredients: pork, veal, water, pork skins, onions, salt, parsley, spices, sugar, monosodium glutamate, hydrolyzed soy protein, sodium phosphate, lemon rind. Made in the USA - USDA Nr. EST. 15845 | Our Price: $7.99 Ringwurst (Ring Bologna in English) also called Fleischwurst, is made of Pork and Beef. It contains no extenders or fillers. Can also be served hot - its full flavor emerges when heated or grilled. Remove the peel, grill, cut into 1/4 inch slices after heating, and serve on a sandwich. NET WT. approximately 12 OZ Always remove the outer peel (casing) before serving, whether hot or cold. Made in the USA. USDA Inspected - EST 5374 | Our Price: $2.99 We've found a new source for the Griebenschmalz and our German Staff is going crazy over this delicious German specialty. For a delicious snack, spread the Crackling Fat on your favorite Rye Bread and sprinkle with salt. Try frying your next batch of Country or Fried Potatoes in Crackling Fat instead of the usual butter for an extra hearty flavor. Keep refrigerated. This item will be shipped to you frozen. NET WT. 8 OZ Ingredients: pork fat. Made in the USA - USDA Nr. Est. 15845 Click on Inset for a "Schmalzbrot-Photo". | Our Price: $4.99 This popular, cured meat spread is prized for its smoky flavor and spreadable consistency. According to Chef Lothar of Restaurant Lachswehr in Germany, which is famous for it's wursts, including teewurst or teawurst, the name Teewurst comes from the time of day it was usually eaten, "Teatime." It is a spread that has a lot in common with Mettwurst, a German variation of Salami, but just made finer as a spread. This ready-to-spread treat is perfect served open-faced on hearty German bread. For a great appetizer spread it on pumpernickle rounds or on whole wheat bread, cut into bite-sized shapes. This product is also available in a coarse texture. Each is made with pork and beef.
